unsuitable, inflexible or ineffective project management methodologies

resemblance to what happens in practice. Leading this seminar will
be Peter O’Neill, an instructor with ESI International. This interactive
seminar will provide an opportunity to assess your own project management
approach against a five level maturity model. Is it 'ad-hoc' with
project managers applying (or failing to apply) tools and techniques
based on personal preferences? 'Integrated', so that strategic decisions
are linked to, and supported by, the selection and implementation
of key projects? Or is it at the highest level – 'Continuously Improving'
– where the methodology is constantly adapted to the business environment
and the needs of the project portfolio? Peter O’Neill will provide
examples of each level and a questionnaire to assist you to accurately
identify your current situation and – more importantly – plan to
improve the effectiveness and integration of project management
in your organization.
