This Business Skills: Professional Certificate offers the critical business knowledge and insight necessary to be more effective and successful in a business environment.

Who is it for?: Suitable for All

Time requirements: 5 courses in 4 years

Study Programme:

  1. Take 5 courses from the following area/course list:

Project Management: Associate’s Certificate

This Project Management: Associate’s Certificate is ideal for those who are just starting out in project management.

Who is it for?: Junior Project Manager/Practicing Project Manager

Time requirements: 3 courses in 2 years

Study Programme:

  1. You must take the following introductory course:
    • Managing Projects
  2. At least one course must be taken from the following:
    • Core Project Management Curriculum
  3. The remaining courses may be taken from the following:
    • Elective Project Management Curriculum
    • Business Skills Curriculum
    • Business Analysis Curriculum

Requirements:

  • Three of the above courses listed must be completed within a two year period.
  • Managing Projects (introductory course) must be completed as one of the three selected courses.

Restrictions:

  • Each course may be applied to only one associate’s certificate. However, all courses applied to the Associate’s Certificate in Project Management may also be applied toward specific master’s certificate requirements.

Project Management: Master’s Certificate

This Project Management: Master’s Certificate is great for those who are looking to take the next step towards becoming project leaders.

Who is it for?: Practicing Project Manager/Project Manager Seeking Certification

Time requirements: 7 courses in 4 years

Study Programme:

  1. You may choose to take the following introductory course:
    • Managing Projects (or any other course from the Core Project Management Curriculum)
  2. Then take at least two from the following area/course list:
    • Contract Management Principles and Practices
    • Project Leadership, Management and Communications
    • Quality for Project Managers
    • Risk Management
    • Scheduling and Cost Control
  3. You may also take up to four from the following area/course list:

Since this certificate is designed for professionals with demonstrated commitment to the discipline of programme management, you must supply ESI with evidence of one of the following before your certificate can be awarded.

  • Project Management Education and Experience (one of the following):
    • ESI/GW Master’s Certificate in Project Management
    • Certificate in Project management from an organisation that has been approved by ESI
    • PMP® Certification
    • Project management certification from a formal, client-sponsored, internal certification Project that has been approved by ESI
  • 3,000 hours Programme Management experience

This Business Analysis: Associate’s Certificate shows the holder has acquired a working knowledge of the business analysis process as well as a great sequel to mastery of skills with the Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis.

Who is it for?: Junior Business Analyst / Practicing Business Analyst

Time requirements: 3 courses in 2 years

Study Programme:

  1. You must take one of the following introductory courses:
    • Foundations of Business Analysis
    • How to Gather and Document User Requirements
  2. At least one further course must be taken from the following:
    • Business Analysis Curriculum
  3. The remaining course may be taken from the following area/course list:
