Joseph R Czarnecki
Joseph R. Czarnecki, PMP, MSP Practitioner, Senior Consultant, Global Learning Solutions – EMEA, ESI International, leads the development and customisation of learning programmes including courseware, executive workshops, coaching programmes and assessments for ESI clients with euro-centric programmes as well as many of the company’s global clients. An expert in project management and instructional design he leverages ESI's expertise and resources to maximise client investments in improving the performance of programme management, project management and business analyst professionals as well as PM and BA operations.
In addition to customising learning programmes, Joe counsels senior management through workshops and coaching to help build overall organisational capability and maturity. He also designs and implements custom, as well as industry standardised PM knowledge and competency assessment programmes. As an ESI subject matter expert and recognised thought leader in project management, Joe also serves as an ESI media spokesperson and has authored several professional articles.
Over his more than 12-year career with ESI, Joe has played a range of leadership and contributory roles in the development and refinement of a majority of ESI’s courses as well as developing scores of customised learning programmes for ESI clients. He played a key role in the development and launch of ESI’s business skills curriculum and more recently has worked to roll out ESI’s contract management curriculum in Europe. Since moving to Europe from the U.S., Joe has distinguished himself as an expert on the different methodologies and frameworks of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Association for Project Management (APM) as well as PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
Joe began his career with ESI at the company’s global headquarters in Arlington, Virginia in the United States and moved to his current position in the EMEA regional headquarters in London in 2007. Prior to joining ESI, he worked with KPMG and served in the U.S. Air Force. An active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Joe serves on the PMI United Kingdom Corporate Council and also is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming, Laramie and a master’s degree from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston.
